Unfortunately we are unable to sell our tickets on line for this production

Kegworth Players is more than just a drama group!

We would like to think that we can offer something to everyone in the village and surrounding local areas.

We don’t just put on plays and meet up for the 6 weeks rehearsal times before hand!

 We have a

  • Poetry group which meets once a month where people can read poems they have written or found on a chosen theme.

  •  A monthly play reading group where we look at plays that we could never produce either due to staging difficulties or cast size.

  • We also take part in local events such as; a stall at the Easter Market, Carol signing at the Christmas Market, stalls at the One Kegworth event and various village events.

The past few years have been very trying for people and it would be nice to think that we could offer a little bit of light hearted relief for someone a couple of times a month and that they could try something new that doesn’t cost the earth to enjoy.

Please get in touch if you would like more information about what we can offer you and what you can perhaps offer us.

Our Social meetings have now changed to the first Wednesday day of each month.

You will still find us in the back room of the Red Lion in Kegworth from 8pm so come along and enjoy a drink, a natter and a catch up on all our future adventures. Everyone welcome whether you're a thespian or just want to be involved. We are always looking for new members and talents.

Kegworth Players are a small friendly  amateur dramatics society based in Kegworth Village.

We were founded in 1947 by Margaret Wood, photographed below and have been staging plays most years since.
